Biography

The history of Sarcasm started back in Summer of 1987, when the band begun to play as trio. The line-up was fulfilled with another two members one year later. First concerts followed and in 1989 the first album Crematory. The tape was sold in 3000 copies. The same year Sarcasm played with Motörhead.

After that it all went wrong. In Yugoslavia, one-year army service was mandatory for everyone and this destroyed many bands. Sarcasm struggled with new members coming in and out. In 1992 Sarcasm played with Sepultura and Kreator, has come other concerts and some new recordings, but they also became a victim of 90s collapse. In 1994 the band performed its farewell concert in Kranj.

The new age of Sarcasm bagan in 1998/98. Some successful shows followed and in 2001 Sarcasm became the first band to sign with On Parole Productions. In Spring 2002 album Igra narave (Twisted Way Of Nature) came out, including re-release of Crematory album. After the release of an album Sarcasm stayed active live and played many club shows with a long list of Slovenian and foreign bands, also one with Holy Moses.

2003 brought new album Divja kri (Wild Blood) and Sarcasm fan club. Slovenian tour followed. A year later Sarcasm played Metal Dose and Metal Camp festival.

In 2006 Sarcasm got a new bass player Jure Buh. Their fourth album, entitled Revolt. was released in September 2006.
