The first stages of the band date back to 2005 when a bunch of guys who shared a passion for thrash metal started jamming together and soon wrote some material. In 2006 the line-up consisting of Tim Tajič, Klemen Kalin, Borut Rampih, Juš Premrov and Matic Jeraj started playing concerts at various Slovenian clubs. The same line-up recorded a 4 track demo in 2007 and gigged some more.

After that Juš and Matic left the band, because they lost their interest in metal music. Klemen Erjavec and Andrej Škof soon joined Eruption as their replacements.

The band returned to the stages in early 2009, presenting their debut album Lifeless Paradise.
