It was 1997 when Gooyda (vocals), Tegla (drums) and Tzeppo (guitar) formed a grindcore band influenced by bands such as Agathocles, Cripple Bastards, Patareni and (old) Napalm Death! It was the very first xtreem band ever forged in the burning pits of Brežice. On Halloween 1997 they played their very first gig. Even though there were only 7 shorts songs on the play-list that night, it was a total success for Dickless Tracy! In March 1998 they recorded their first demo called The First Chapter which was released as a split tape with Flaster Of Disaster from Croatia. It sounded like the arrival of Grindmageddon – raw, unrecognizable and brutal! D.J. joined the band in Summer of that year. They moved to Krško and started to sound more like Extreme Noise Terror meets Brutal Truth. The recording of their 2nd demo took place in November 1998. A year later they recorded their first full length album called The New Domination which brings you 19 old school crusty grindcore tracks! In April 2001 they started to record their 2nd album called Of Light And Darkness which was released 6 months after. It was re-released twice! D. J. had a traffic accident in August 2002 which resulted in 3 month absence and recovery. In that time they recruited their good friend Agee, who joined in as a full time member in November. Soon after that D.J. just left without telling anyone about it. He was simply gone. Vanished… In January 2004 the new material was ready to be recorded and their friend Rok Marolt offered his time and equipment to record their 3rd album Dementia Eternity. This »album« was never released… Agee left the band just before the next tour started! So, Tegla and Tzeppo decided to do the tour as duo most of the time because Gooyda was working 3 shift job. Bassko joined the band during the tour but he didn't perform. In October 2004 Gooyda is forced to leave the band after 7 years of grinding with the Dickless Horde. The vocal spot was then taken over by guitarist Tzeppo. Screams changed to growls… Tzeppo and Tegla went to Zagreb (Croatia) to start recording the 1st Dickless Tracy studio album. In December 2005 a new promo demo called …Diagnosis Unknown was released. The Grind Crusade continued with the Grindmageddon Con-tour which started in March. Guitarist Jean-Sebastien Imbeau joined the band just 3 weeks before the tour started! Dickless Tracy unleashed the Grindstorm over the battlefields of Slovenia, Croatia and Austria as they confirmed their status of xtreem and uncompromising act! Jean-Sebastien returned home in Canada at the end of July 2006 and Bassko did his last show with Dickless Tracy 2 weeks after. Wrba (bass) and Hochewar (guitar) joined Dickless Tracy in August of that year. |
